About The Position

Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Janitor - 2nd Shift (Part-Time) at our Reno, NV facility!
The is a part-time role and can be flexible but has a target of 2 pm - 8 pm, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
The hourly rate for this position is $19.82 per hour + $0.50 per hour shift differential.

The Janitor is responsible for general cleaning tasks throughout the facility and maintenance of cleaning supplies inventory levels.

Requirements

• Must have a high school diploma or GED (General Education Degree) equivalent from an accredited institution.
• No relocation is being offered for this role. All candidates considered must live within 50 miles of the Reno, NV facility. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

• Basic computer skills (i.e., Microsoft Office Suite)
• Ability to work with limited or no supervision

• Ability to stand on feet continuously during working shift: kneeling, bending, and climbing with or without reasonable accommodations.

• A minimum of six (6) months of previous facilities/janitorial experience

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning and sanitation of the facility including cafeterias, break areas, bathrooms, and hallways, etc.
• Clean, sanitize, and refill inventory for all plant restrooms.
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors in break areas, cafeterias, bathrooms, hallways, offices & etc.
• Operate cleaning systems and equipment as trained and specified (i.e. vacuums, floor scrubbers, etc.)
• Help organize and maintain closets and storage areas.
• Prepare all cleaning solutions required for the sanitation of the facility.
• Properly track the use of all chemical cleaning agents, paints, and supplies that are removed from plant inventory.
• Responsible to accurately communicate utilization of cleaning supplies and request issuance of those consumed items via the plant established procedure.
• Maintain recycle bins and trash and periodic deep cleaning of office areas, break rooms, and other areas as assigned.
• Exterior cleaning to include along building, windows, grounds & parking lot in all weather conditions.
• Complete assigned tasks in a timely manner.
• Performs other janitorial duties as required.
