About The Position

Job Summary: Bongards Creameries is looking for a dedicated, dynamic and experienced individual to join us as the Day Shift Janitor. The Janitor is responsible for keeping our facility (interior, exterior) in compliance with Hygiene, Safety and GMP regulations. Job Duties Maintain cleanliness of all offices, break areas, locker rooms, labs and restrooms Use floor scrubber to clean high traffic areas Maintain perimeter of plant free of vegetation and litter Must be able to operate a forklift and maintain certification Must learn and perform all duties listed on the Janitorial Master Sanitation Schedule Stock and maintain inventory for PPE, Drinks, Utensils, Cleaning Products on shelves Disposal of trash and cardboard Maintain cleanliness of restrooms at Bongards warehouses All other duties as assigned Other requirements High School diploma or equivalent Excellent Math and Reading skills Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Excellent communication skills Strong mechanical aptitude Must be able to follow written, verbal instructions Ability to work independently Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines Previous janitor experience in a manufacturing environment preferred Must adhere to and follow all Safety, GMP, and other quality guidelines. Must have valid driver’s license and be able to be certified to drive a company vehicle. Ability to spend long periods of time standing Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Must be able to carry up to 45 pounds. Must report all food safety problems to immediate supervisor or their designated replacement. Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent
Excellent Math and Reading skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication skills
Strong mechanical aptitude
Must be able to follow written, verbal instructions
Ability to work independently
