Essential Functions Sweeps, vacuums, mops, scrubs, waxes and polishes floors using industrial vacuum cleaners and scrubbing and buffing machines. Sometimes using ladders, dusts and washes walls, cleans ceilings and dusts and polishes light fixtures. Washes and replaces blinds. Moves cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates, and equipment to clean areas. May remove stains from such surfaces as rugs, drapes, walls, and floors using chemicals and cleaning solutions. Job Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Walks, sits, stands, bends, lifts, and moves continually during work hours. Teamwork Orientation. Thoroughness. Time Management. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Education and Experience Elementary level mathematical knowledge/skills; must be able to count parts accurately. Ability to read and write preferred. Bilingual in Spanish and English and computer skills preferred. Work Environment Manufacturing plant environment with extreme fluctuation in temperature. Dusty and noisy environment. Exposure to odors and fumes.
