About The Position

Summary/Objective The Janitor is responsible for facility maintenance as directed by the Facility Maintenance Supervisor. Requirements

Prior experience on cleaning or housekeeping crew
Able to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
Apply common sense and understanding to carry out instructions in writing, oral or diagram form
Must be able to communicate effectively in English both verbal and written
Experience with various janitorial maintenance jobs
Trouble shooting equipment malfunctions
Capable of determining and using a wide variety of personal protective equipment
Able to use basic arithmetic
Capable of completing assignment in a timely manner without constant supervision
Capable of performing assigned janitorial tasks without losing track of details
Operate janitorial equipment (floor scrubbers, buffers, cleaning machines, etc.)
High School Diploma or GED
5 Years janitorial experience
