About The Position

Are you ready to be part of the solution? Join us at 1633 Valencia. We are opening a brand new building. This community will have On-Site resident services, Health and Wellness Workshops, Financial Stability Workshops, A supportive services suite, and on-site food pantry. In addition to the unique services offered, the community will also have a community room, planned resident events, free bike storage room, 24th St. BART transit access, and walk-ability to stores, retail, and main transit lines. The successful Janitor will be a team member who provides clean affordable housing to the residents of the community. The Janitor will work with maintenance staff to coordinate a cleaning schedule. We encourage candidates with lived experience to apply. This is an on-site position.

Responsibilities

Cleans and maintains entry lobby, including cleaning of windows, doors, mopping floors, vacuuming carpets, etc., at least daily, and more if necessary, to maintain excellent entrance appeal.
Cleans laundry room, community room, conference room, and management offices on a daily basis.
Vacuums hallways on a daily basis.
Cleans community bathrooms on a daily basis, more if necessary, to maintain in a sanitary manner.
