About The Position

Excel Facility Services is seeking a reliable janitor to provide excellent cleaning services. The role involves maintaining assigned areas in a clean and orderly condition, executing the scope of work for all assigned locations, and covering locations as directed by management.

Requirements

Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques and cleaning products.
Good attendance and punctuality.
Ability to work independently as needed.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors
Clean and sanitize bathrooms
Clean counter tops, microwaves, and refrigerators in break rooms
Restock supplies in bathrooms, break rooms and common areas
Empty all trash cans and replace liners, clean receptacles as necessary
Dust and clean cashier stalls, ceiling light fixtures
Clean windows and mirrors
Maintain janitor closets in a clean, safe and operable condition
Follow safety rules and use safety precautions
Complete SOW as requested and assigned by the manager per location
Perform general cleaning tasks throughout our building
Restock supplies in areas assigned.
Maintains in attractive and clean condition areas assigned and notifies supervisor of necessary repairs of facilities and/or equipment, etc.
Participates in workshops, training, and seminars for the purpose of conveying and/or gathering information required to perform job functions.
Request to supervisor janitorial supplies for the purpose of ensuring adequate quantities for daily use.
Ensure that the doors are locked at night (if applicable, ask your manager)
Must use Time and Attendance system to report hours and payroll purposes.
Must complete IVR system if applicable or notify manager ASAP if any issues, not completing IVR to report services can affect hours paid.
Must always wear uniform and IDs while working.
