Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world. A Janitor performs assigned cleaning operations to maintain the general appearance of the buildings and premises. Perform similar duties as assigned. 1st Shift – Monday – Thursday: 5:00AM – 2:30PM, Friday: 5:00AM – 9:00AM. Richardson, TX. This position is an onsite role.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalency (GED)
• Minimum of three (3) months commercial experience performing the following custodial work: Stripping, waxing, and polishing floors. Cleaning and care of carpeted areas.
• Must have a valid driver’s license to drive around site.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
• Active and existing security clearance required after day 1

Nice To Haves

• The ability to work from oral and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning duties required in maintaining a clean facility including, but not limited to: general cleaning; buff, steam clean, vacuum, sweep, mop, and wax floors; remove waste and metal chips; clean and service restrooms; clean windows, walls, and stairways as instructed by supervisor.
• Be able to operate forklifts, industrial janitorial cleaning equipment, and ladders.
• Remove and separate pieces, parts, chips, and turnings of various metals and alloys.
• Perform other duties as assigned and keep work area clean and orderly.
• Cleans and maintains clean rooms to government and/or required specifications.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
