About The Position
General and specific cleaning by means of mopping, hand or power washing, vacuuming, dusting, polishing, and waste disposal. Cleaning of plant facility, including offices, furnishings, floors, windows, restrooms, cafeteria, break areas, processing equipment, and the general plant and grounds as directed. Maintain supply levels such as soaps, sanitary items, towels, etc. at restrooms and break sites. Complete minor maintenance tasks as directed, such as painting and policing the grounds. Prepare and maintain records that are related to the basic job functions. Order, organize and utilize janitorial supplies in job tasks as applicable, e.g.: chemical cleaners, waxes, polishing agents, paints, etc. Inform Supervisor of any facility quality or condition issues. Material handling such as the operation of pallet jacks. Complete all applicable company sponsored training and train coworkers. Participate in team-oriented meetings. Work shifts and overtime as assigned. Follow all work instructions as provided.
