Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED, or
  • Minimum of 6 months previous custodial or janitorial experience
  • Access to this work site requires a valid REAL ID
  • U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
  • Ability to carry out simple but detailed instructions
  • Effective communication skills with co-workers
  • Positive team player attitude
  • Ability to interact effectively with employees with disabilities
  • Ability to work safely in environments with narrow, moving, and/or slippery surfaces

Responsibilities

  • Clean and maintain restrooms, offices, break rooms, locker rooms, kitchenettes/pantries, showers, stairwells, corridors, elevators/escalators, and other work areas.
  • Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors, rugs, carpets, and upholstered furniture.
  • Dust furniture, fixtures, and equipment; polish metalwork and fittings.
  • Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, door panels, and sills.
  • Empty wastebaskets, transport trash to disposal areas, and recycle materials appropriately.
  • Replenish restroom supplies as needed.
  • Follow all safety standards and proper use of cleaning equipment.
  • Maintain quality work and appropriate conduct in line with Didlake policies.
  • Complete and maintain all required Didlake training.
