About The Position

Join our team as a Janitor / Porter, responsible for cleaning building areas, floors, and surfaces, setting up rooms for events, and removing trash. No travel required. FULL-TIME - JANITOR/PORTER - 7AM to 3:30PM WORK: SUNDAY, WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY, FRIDAY and SATURDAY OFF: MONDAY & TUESDAY Chatsworth is located in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, on the grounds of prestigious PGA National. Requirements

• Previous experience in carpet care and floor finishing techniques is preferred
• Ability to safely operate carpet care equipment, hard floor care equipment, trash removal equipment, and any other equipment necessary for the cleanliness of the community
• Ability to work independently and as a contributing team member
• May be required to maintain a valid driver's license as a condition of employment.
• Must have a history of safe driving as noted through a Motor Vehicle Record check, if driving is required

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in carpet care and floor finishing techniques is preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of the community through the operation of specialized equipment
• Ensure proper handling and disposal of waste
• Utilize work orders to ensure proper room/furniture setups
• Assist with movement and delivery of heavy objects/packages
• Remove trash including, refuse and recycling
• Maintain hard floor surfaces, including scrubbing, mopping, burnishing, stripping, and waxing as well as carpeted surfaces, including extracting, interim cleaning, spotting, drying, and vacuuming
