About The Position

Turner Industries is seeking a Janitor for a position in Pace, FL. The Janitor position assists skilled maintenance and construction workers in performing their assigned duties. This is a non-exempt role that reports to the Foreman, with assigned duties according to specific procedures and frequent checks on work quality.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• General knowledge of cleaning.
• Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation.
• Signed acceptance of the Turner Industries Drug, Alcohol and Contraband Policy.
• Comply with company and client job site safety requirements.
• Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Maintain premises; ensure rest and working areas of offices, industrial buildings, and outer grounds are in clean and orderly condition.
• Perform a combination of dusting furniture, walls, fixtures, and equipment.
• Sweep, scrub, mop, wax, and buff floors.
• Polish furniture, fixtures, and trimmings using janitorial supplies.
• Clean lavatories, showers, and restrooms.
• Perform a variety of non-mechanical tasks.
• Spend time on the job or may be transferred from task to task as needed.
• Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction.
