About The Position

Janitorial Supervisor Duties and Responsibilities Janitorial Supervisors oversee and coordinate the work of janitorial staff to ensure a clean and orderly environment in buildings. They also handle administrative tasks and may conduct training for new staff. The duties and responsibilities of a Janitorial Supervisor include: Directing and supervising the cleaning, maintenance, and repair activities of janitorial staff Inspecting work performed to ensure conformance to specifications and established standards Training staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and the use of cleaning equipment and chemicals Creating and maintaining cleaning schedules and routines Ordering and maintaining an inventory of janitorial supplies and equipment Handling and resolving complaints or issues regarding janitorial services Recruiting, interviewing, and hiring new janitorial staff Conducting performance evaluations and providing feedback to janitorial staff Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations Maintaining records of janitorial services performed and preparing reports for management Applicants must be legally authorized to work for ANY employer in the United States. Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a janitorial supervisor or similar role
  • Knowledge of cleaning procedures and machinery
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations
  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery
