Janitor/Industrial Cleaner
About The Position
The Industrial Cleaner is responsible for the day-to-day cleanliness of the facility to include removal of trash and other debris. Essential Functions Performs a combination of cleaning fixtures, or equipment; sweeping, scrubbing, mopping. Removes and transports and compacts trash to the appropriate disposal areas. Perform light facility maintenance as assigned. Keep records of inventory and reorder supplies when necessary Maintain and keep all equipment used on the job in good working order Pick up loose debris inside the facility as assigned. Report unsafe conditions/problems to maintenance supervisor. Maintain a safe, neat and orderly workplace. Maintains adherence to company policies, safety/ergonomic standards, and good housekeeping practices. Comply with all Environmental Requirements and Policies Report all Environmental incidents to immediate supervisor Other duties as assigned by supervisor(s).
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED Required.
- Must be able to perform all physical requirements of the job and work in a safe and efficient manner.
Nice To Haves
- Custodial experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
