About The Position

Apple Canyon Lake Property Owners Association (ACLPOA) is a recreational community located approximately 15 miles east of Galana, Illinois. We are currently looking for a Janitor/Custodian for day-to-day housekeeping and routine maintenance for the association’s buildings and amenities.

This is a full-time position and includes available participation in our employee benefit package including 401k, medical, and dental insurance.

Requirements

• A valid state issued driver’s license and ability to maintain insurability under ACLPOA vehicle insurance policy
• Ability to lift/carry 50lbs and stand/walk for 6+ hours
• Can work with minimal direct supervision
• Regular schedule is M-F, however occasional weekend or holiday coverage may be required

Responsibilities

• Sanitation of all restrooms
• Washing and dusting of all floors, walls, furniture, fixtures, mirrors, etc. in all buildings
• Emptying and disposal of trash from all waste containers in buildings and outdoors
• Watering and weeding of all flower beds throughout ACLPOA
• Paints/touches up various signs and equipment
• Set-up and clean-up of for specific events
