About The Position

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Janitor to maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment within our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing production areas, offices, restrooms, and common spaces, while adhering to safety and sanitation standards. This candidate will also fill in as a production/assembly helper. Assembles component and sub-assembly parts into dispenser or component assemblies using fasteners and hand or power tools, partially or completely, working at bench or on shop floor by performing the following duties.

Requirements

Education Experience: A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
National background check required
Frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
This is a drug-free workplace. All candidates must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and be willing to submit to a national background check.

Responsibilities

Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum shop floors, break rooms, offices, and restrooms.
Collect and dispose of trash, recycling, and scrap materials from production and warehouse areas.
Clean and sanitize restrooms, locker rooms, and common areas daily.
Reads and follows job packets containing operation descriptions and item listings with quantities.
Positions parts according to the knowledge of the unit being assembled or following blueprints.
Fastens parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or other fasteners.
Handles parts with due care so as not to damage them during assembly.
Fills out reject tags and makes sure that rejected material is handled properly.
