Requirements

• A High School Diploma or GED required.
• Technical training and prior experience working in industrial settings is preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift over 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining the cleanliness and integrity of the Optimax facility.
• Sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing, cleaning, waxing, and polishing floors using industrial vacuum cleaners and scrubbing and buffing machines.
• Dusting and washing walls, cleaning overhead equipment such as pipes, ceilings, light fixtures, and air ducts.
• Collecting and disposing of trash and recycling.
• Keeping lavatories clean and supplied.
• Performing a variety of housekeeping jobs.
• Moving cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates, and equipment to clean areas.
• Removing stains from surfaces such as rugs, walls, and floors using chemicals and cleaning solutions.
• Sweeping walks, raking leaves, cutting grass, removing snow, or performing other incidental seasonal tasks.
• Working alongside the Maintenance department.
