About The Position

Keep facility in clean and orderly condition by performing heavy cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, cleaning bathrooms, dumping chips, and cleaning snow and debris from sidewalks and doorways.

Responsibilities

• Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
• Gather and empty trash into outside dumpsters.
• Requisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.
• Chip out machines.
• Check all buildings for water, oil and coolant spills and vacuum or mop up as needed.
• Drive Forklift to Dump chip tubs and move other material.
• Empty and rinse out mop buckets and return to designated areas.
• Sweep and mop around each machine in each building.
• Clean open areas in each building with floor scrubber.
• Empty oil skimmer buckets and oil pans at all machines.
• Mow and trim lawn.
• Sort, tear down and stack wood pallets.
• Wipe down machines and clean out the coolant tanks
• Clean out sump pits
• Actively participate in the 5S program, which is to Sort, Set In Order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain in order to maintain a highly productive work environment.
• Assist with keeping the department and machinery clean.
• Other duties as assigned.
