About The Position
Are you a Reliable cleaner interested in working a late shift? If so Wildwood Wants you! Salary range- $16.75/hr-$21.00/hr depending on experience Shift: Monday thru Friday: 4pm to midnight or 3pm to 11pm We have a position available in Schenectady. Please submit an updated resume so that we can pay you for your experience! We are looking for a Janitor/Cleaner to clean the Wildwood buildings and keep them in neat & orderly condition. Wildwood Programs is a provider of educational, residential, employment, and other community-based supports to people with disabilities and their families. Requirements
- A valid NYS license and clean driving record
- Proven track record of attendance & reliability
- Cleaning experience preferred
- Internet software, E-mail
- A valid New York State Driver’s License and ability to drive and driving record acceptable for agency insurance coverage are required.

Responsibilities
- Consistently and reliably attend work and arrive in a timely manner.
- Sweeps, mops, buffs, and scrubs floors. Vacuums hallways, stairs and office space.
- Cleans and services restrooms with mops and disinfectants. Stock and replenish supplies.
- Strip and wax floors.
- Sets up and takes down chairs, tables, and other equipment for special use of building.
- Cleans interior glass, and drinking fountains.
- Dust blinds, vents and baseboards.
- Checks to ensure that buildings are heated, cleaned, locked, and unlocked in readiness for all activities.
- Empties office trash and garbage containers.
- Informs senior custodian of maintenance issues.
- Makes recommendations for improvements or new equipment
