About The Position
As the Supply Planning Analyst, you will be responsible for procuring supply to meet service and inventory objectives. You will work to ensure on time deliveries from vendors and to customers. Key partners will include Vendors, Sourcing, Logistics, Demand Planning, Distribution and Customer Service. Additionally, you will understand capacity constraints and work to resolve issues proactively. A day in the life of a Supply Planning Analyst at JanSport includes interfacing with Sourcing offices on capacity and production plans, recommending and executing product purchases based on demand inputs, tracking conversion of purchase requisitions to vendor purchase orders, and monitoring demand needs and supply timing. You will collaborate with Demand Planning, support the S&OP Supply Review meeting, participate in long-term supply availability planning, and perform ad hoc analysis and reporting as required.
