Crossroads Health, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with facilities located in Mentor, Painesville, and Cleveland, serves Northeast Ohio communities with comprehensive behavioral and primary integrated healthcare, early childhood services, extended housing and recovery services—no matter one’s ability to pay. Our mission is to provide hope, healing, and healthcare to everyone. The Jail Treatment Program Counselor position offers mental health and addiction services to adults within the Lake County Adult Detention Facility. This position is responsible for completing diagnostic assessments, running an intensive outpatient group, individual counseling, and discharge planning services as well as service coordination with the courts and probation departments who refer clients to the program. This provider will engage as a member of a collaborative team. With a Trauma Informed approach, this position will be a representative for the organization and how we offer integrated services for recovery and mental health.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human services (required)
  • Licensed in the State of Ohio with (LPC/LSW, LPCC/LISW)
  • State of Ohio Chemical Dependency Credential: CDCA I, CDCA II, LCDC II, LCDC III, LICDC, LICDC-CS
  • BLS/Fist Aid (as applicable, company provided)

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s Degree in Human Services/Addiction/Social Work/Mental Health (preferred)
  • Two (2) to three (3) years of experience working with mental health and addiction (preferred)
  • Two (2) to three (3) years of experience working with an incarcerated population (preferred)
