About The Position

The Non CDL Driver I position at US Foods is a delivery role responsible for driving a company vehicle with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) of 14,900. The driver will deliver foodservice products to customers, ensuring high levels of service and compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
• Valid U.S. driver's license issued by the state of legal residence with proper endorsements if required.
• No more than two convictions in the past two-year period for traffic violations, no DUI convictions in the past three years, no driver's license suspensions in the past three years.
• Must be able to pass DOT physical.
• No commercial or professional driving experience required.
• One year of multi-stop delivery experience is preferred or six months local delivery experience and/or foodservice industry experience preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Commercial driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver best-in-class Customer Service.
• Deliver customer's orders to meet scheduled delivery times and maintain productivity.
• Unload products and place items in customer storage areas.
• Perform repeated, manual heavy lifting of items up to 80 pounds.
• Make frequent stops during a work shift.
• Deliver product in inclement weather conditions.
• Verify delivery of items with customers.
