About The Position

This posting is for the Jack Driver position in the WOG Marination department. This position is responsible for operating a hand jack while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. It is scheduled for 1st shift and has a base pay of $17.60

Requirements

This position must be able to lift tubs with weights up to 70lbs, work in a cold and wet environment (approx. 50 degrees)
All applicants must provide their government identification number so the system can verify any previous Tyson employment history.
This facility will not accept applicants that have worked for Tyson Foods more than 3 times.
This facility accepts rehires after 365 days.
Tyson reserves the right to require longer waiting periods or not accept rehires based on the reason for dismissal

Responsibilities

This position is responsible for providing operating jack on a daily basis in the designated area.
This position is responsible for operating a pallet jack, moving product to necessary location, loading and unloading of combos and skids of product, requires a licensed driver.
This position will be required to maneuver pallet jack around belts, tables, bending, lifting, turning, pulling and twisting, continual gripping of the control handle of the jack, be able to move about, walk entire department throughout shift, must maintain up keep of pallet jack while in Team Members possession, must be aware of all obstacles in all areas of travel (including other Team Members).
This position will also assist in all areas as needed and any other duties as assigned by Manager.
