About The Position

This position is responsible for ensuring all materials are transported and/or unloaded in a timely manner while using a pallet jack while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Must have at least 6 months of previous work experience with a single employer within the last 18 months.
• Team member must be able to operate a floor jack and must be able to obtain a jack driver's license.
• Team member must be able to walk the duration of the shift, find all parts of the plant, and heavy lifting is required.
• Team member must be able to follow directions, have knowledge of cooler rotation, be able to follow safety rules, and must have the ability to work unsupervised.
• Team member must maintain a good attitude and be team oriented.
• Use of proper PPE is required.
• Basic reading
• General safety training
• Hand/power jack training
• Safe lifting

Responsibilities

• Team member will be required to set up the line
• Bring product to the line
• Take out condemned product
• Do all other jobs assigned by supervisor
