About The Position

This position is responsible for ensuring all materials are transported and/or unloaded in a timely manner while using a hand pallet jack while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. This position pays $18.10/hr. Evis Jack Driver Functions To maintain and promote the Tyson safety culture Receive training as required Perform various positions as required/assigned Description This position is responsible for providing operating jack on a daily basis in the designated area. Tasks This position is responsible for operating a pallet jack, moving product to necessary location, loading, and unloading of combos and skids of product, requires a licensed driver (training supplied), must be able to change battery as needed (training supplied). This position will be required to maneuver pallet jack around belts, tables, bending, lifting, turning, pulling, and twisting, continual gripping of the control handle of the jack, be able to move about, walk entire department throughout shift, must maintain upkeep of pallet jack while in Team Members possession, must be aware of all obstacles in all areas of travel (including other Team Members). This position must be able to lift tubs with weights up to 70lbs, work flexible hours including weekend, if necessary, work in a cold and wet environment (approx. 50 degrees). This position will also assist in all areas as needed and any other duties as assigned by Manager. The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
