About The Position

The Jack Driver operates a forklift or ride on electric pallet jack in an industrial setting and uses a handheld computer/scanner. The starting pay for this position is $21.35/hr. with a shift increase for second and third shift. The work hours are from 3pm to 11pm. This position is full-time and is located in Portland, IN.

Requirements

• Must have 3 months of operator or manufacturing experience listed in the work history or skills section
• Must have 6 months of work history in 12 months to be considered
• Must not have been terminated from previous employer for attendance or job abandonment

Responsibilities

• Stages packaging materials for production use
• Utilizes a handheld computer/scanner to track inventory
• Putting packing material away in its proper location after changeovers and shutdowns
• Accurately maintains material lot tracking forms
• Ability to use a handheld computer/scanner
• Ability to perform basic math functions (adding, subtracting, multiplying, etc.) with use of calculator
• Perform any other work as assigned by supervisor
• Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP and SQF Requirements
• Must perform all positions of rotation, if applicable
