About The Position
This opportunity is specifically for owner operators with 26ft box trucks, as we are expanding our Contracted Carrier Network in the Wauwatosa, WI area. Our Final Mile division is experiencing significant customer growth nationwide, which has increased our need for skilled and disciplined Carriers. If you have experience in appliance delivery and installation, we encourage you to reach out. This position offers consistent routes with established customers, ensuring that you have a steady flow of work. You will be locally routed and dispatched, allowing for efficient operations and timely deliveries. Additionally, we provide a truck rental option and have a referral program in place to reward you for bringing in new drivers. Uniform purchases are also supported through our programs. As a contracted carrier, you will be responsible for delivering appliances and providing installation services, which may include white glove delivery. This role requires an active USDOT# and MC#, as well as experience in appliance delivery and installation. A 26' box truck is necessary for this position, and while a liftgate is recommended, it is not mandatory. We have specific insurance requirements that must be met, including $1 million in commercial general liability, $1 million in automobile liability, and $1 million in workers' compensation coverage or occupational accident coverage. This is a contract position with a pay rate of $605 per day, and shifts can vary from 10 to 12 hours, primarily during the day shift. You will be expected to work every weekend and Monday to Friday, so flexibility is key.
