About The Position

The IWS (Integrated Work System) Maintenance Lead is responsible for driving maintenance excellence and reliability through the implementation of IWS methodologies: to implement and / or to maintain and continuously improve the maintenance planning and scheduling (MPS) and breakdown elimination (BDE) daily management system (DMS) for their area, to coach line teams to improve technical ability, and to provide a continuity link to other Progressive Maintenance (PM) systems.

Requirements

  • Electro-technical education (mechanical, electrical, electronics, industrial automation).
  • 3+ years of professional experience in a production environment in a similar role.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, combined with knowledge of time-based and condition-based maintenance approaches (or similar TPM experience), basic spare parts management, and failure root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Owner for eliminating maintenance and breakdown related losses on assigned Cell. Responsible for the Progressive Maintenance system for the assigned Cell. Facilitates root cause analysis for equipment failures using IWS tools such as IPS and 5 WHYs.
  • Develops & accountable for short term (24-hour) & mid-term (<90 days) action plans together with their Cell Lead / Team to improve maintenance systems and eliminate breakdowns. Participates in identifying and planning capital projects, equipment installations, and equipment upgrades.
  • Leads the implementation and sustainment of IWS pillars within the maintenance function. Coaches team members of assigned cell in line with IWS principles, ensuring IWS methodology is in place, properly executed and lived daily to achieve the operational objectives.
  • Builds the capability of line teams by enabling self-sufficient teams through training and development in responsible DMSs and tools, while developing the operating teams’ deep technical knowledge to support standards creation for loss elimination.
  • Develops maintenance standards & One Point Lessons (OPLs), to support knowledge sharing and process consistency within the processing cell and other JTI factories.
  • Responsible for establishing, maintaining, and continuously improving the effectiveness of assigned Daily Management Systems (DMSs) for the Cell, including Breakdown Elimination (BDE) and Maintenance Planning & Scheduling (MP&S).
  • Applies and sustains supporting tools such as Progressive Maintenance (PM) cards, Initial Problem Solving (IPS), Unified Problem Solving (UPS), Dice charts, and failure analysis to drive reliability and performance improvement.
