The IVF Nurse Coordinator (RN) plays a crucial role in the fertility treatment process, providing comprehensive care, support, and coordination throughout the IVF journey. This position is pivotal in helping patients navigate the complexities of fertility treatments while striving for the best possible outcomes. The coordinator will work closely with physicians to ensure individualized patient care and treatment, making a significant impact through patient education, emotional support, and advocacy.

  • Provide individualized nursing care to fertility patients through treatment coordination, medication management, patient advocacy, and outcome monitoring.
  • Collaborate closely with physicians to coordinate patient care and treatment.
  • Educate patients on the IVF process, medications, potential side effects, and lifestyle factors affecting treatment success.
  • Provide emotional support and counseling to patients throughout their IVF journey.
  • Guide patients on self-administration of medications and monitor progress, adjusting dosages as necessary.
  • Coordinate and schedule surgery and ART appointments, diagnostic tests, and procedures, ensuring all consents are signed.
  • Monitor established pregnancies via ultrasonography and lab tests during the first 8-12 weeks of pregnancy.
  • Serve as a liaison between patients and the medical team, relaying vital information and answering questions promptly.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the EMR, documenting all aspects of IVF treatment.
  • Perform intrauterine inseminations as directed.
  • Associate Degree or higher in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing required.
  • Current State Registered Nurse (RN) license (without limitations) required.
  • Active BCLS/ACLS certification required.
  • 2 years RN experience preferred.
  • 2 years of previous experience in women's health, fertility, or OB/GYN preferred.
  • Experience in patient monitoring
