Requirements

Current Massachusetts RN license
BLS Certification required
Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-focused skill
One year medical/surgical experience required
Exceptional vascular access skills
Responsible for the placement of Peripheral IV's, the care, troubleshooting and maintenance of PIV and central lines for patients of all ages (pediatric to elderly) and phlebotomy support
Excellent IV placement skills and management of central lines required
Peripheral lab drawing experience required

Nice To Haves

BSN preferred
Previous IV Therapy Team experience preferred
PICC placement preferred

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care from admission through discharge
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care
Administer medications and treatments and monitor patient outcomes
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
Educate and support patients and families
Contribute to a positive, respectful, team-oriented environment
Practice in alignment with hospital policies, MA Nurse Practice Act, and ANA standards
