Registered IV and Float Nurse
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Registered Nurse with top-notch IV skills to join our healthcare team. This vital role involves providing specialized intravenous therapy and ensuring the safety and comfort of our patients. When not in IV, this position will float (or be trained on floating) into Triage, Clinic Care, and supporting the Physicians. Ours is a small, dynamic team, with many shared responsibilities. Requirements

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the relevant state or region
• Proven experience in IV therapy and vascular access management
• Strong understanding of infection control practices and safety procedures
• Excellent patient assessment and communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare setting
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care

Responsibilities

• Administer intravenous medications, fluids, and therapies accurately and safely
• Monitor patients’ responses to IV treatments and adjust as necessary
• Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and safety standards
• Assess patients’ vascular access sites and perform necessary procedures for insertion, maintenance, and removal of IV lines
• Document all procedures, treatments, and patient responses accurately in medical records
• Educate patients and their families about IV therapy procedures and care instructions
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Grow into a veritable Clinic Float Nurse, assisting with phone Triage, Clinic Care, and being a Patient Liaison for the Medical Providers
