The Items Processing Team Member I at DCU plays a crucial role in supporting the credit union's operations by processing various transactions and providing excellent customer service. This position emphasizes attention to detail, adherence to policies, and collaboration within the team to ensure efficient service delivery to members and other departments.

  • Actively contribute to DCU's Success Sharing initiatives and practices.
  • Maintain professionalism and respect during interactions with members and colleagues.
  • Adhere to DCU policies and procedures related to the position and applicable regulations.
  • Perform work functions with attention to detail and within established timeframes.
  • Meet or exceed performance goals, including service level achievement and quality of work.
  • Provide support, service, and research for members and other departments within DCU.
  • Answer incoming Hunt Line(s) calls in a professional manner.
  • Process mail deposit and loan payments.
  • Process and balance DCU ATM files.
  • Process encoding error disputes and foreign item checks sent in by members.
  • Process Share branching adjustments and Exception adjustments.
  • Participate in various team projects as assigned by the Deposit Services Department Manager or Team Leader.
  • Cross-train within Deposit Services to assist other teams as needed.
  • Prior financial institution experience preferred.
  • Prior customer service experience.
  • Strong PC skills with an emphasis on Microsoft Office.
