About The Position

The position at Tyson involves a variety of responsibilities centered around the movement of heavy products and maintaining a clean and safe workspace. Team members will be required to move racks of product weighing approximately 900 lbs. or greater consistently throughout the day, handling around 48 racks or boxes. The role includes operating machinery, performing sanitation tasks such as scrubbing, rinsing, and disinfecting, and ensuring compliance with Animal Welfare Guidelines. Candidates must be prepared for physical demands, including lifting up to 30 lbs. occasionally and standing or walking for long periods, often in environments with allergens and varying temperatures. A flexible schedule is necessary, and applicants must not own any domestic or exotic fowl. A background check related to Animal Welfare is also required. Only applicants from specific counties in Arkansas and Oklahoma will be considered, and previous Tyson employees who have worked there three times or more will not be eligible.

Requirements

  • Ability to lift approximately 30 lbs. occasionally.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stretch, climb, push, pull, and reach for long periods (up to 10+ hours a shift).
  • Must not own, possess, or maintain any domestic, wild, or exotic fowl.
  • Must be willing to undergo an Animal Welfare background check.
  • Must have a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Move racks of product weighing approximately 900 lbs. or greater consistently throughout the day.
  • Maintain a clean and safe workspace, including operating machinery and performing sanitation tasks.
  • Practice safe and delicate handling of eggs and chicks, adhering to Animal Welfare Guidelines.
  • Complete all tasks or duties as assigned by management.
  • Work in a climate with varying temperatures and high humidity.
