Our Global Supply Chain operates as a unified virtual system with our customers and suppliers by acting as seamless extensions of their operations. We offer customized, flexible and integrated supply chain solutions, supported by a global technology platform and a dedicated, market-focused team. We are currently seeking an ITAR/Export Compliance Manager to ensure Celestica's export operations are in compliance with government International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). The successful candidate must be willing to accept the designation of “Empowered Official” for ITAR.Detailed Description Develops and updates export policies and guidelines as needed. Evaluates product specifications based on export regulations, classifies items, and identifies any special instruction or requirements to employees and customers. Conducts education programs and performs due diligence to ensure compliance to country regulations. Conduct audits of sites managing ITAR programs, and ensuring Technology Control Plans are up to date and complied to. Ensures current and thorough knowledge of relevant regulations, laws and upcoming changes. Responsible for writing and implementing Manufacturing License Agreements (MLA) and Technical Assistance Agreements (TAA). Responsible for writing and implementing Department of State licenses and Bureau of Industry & Security export licenses. Responsible for process development, re-engineering, implementation and training relating to operational improvements or legislation changes related to area of responsibility. Acts as a liaison with government bodies including, Commerce and State Departments. Assesses feasibility of programs with implementation requirements, establishes roll out plan, and initiates program execution. Interfaces with various levels of Celestica management to ensure processes are in place and working such that we maintain compliance with ITAR and export compliance processes.
