Italian Interpreter
About The Position
Looking for Qualified Interpreters! Rapport International is looking for certified, Italian interpreters to provide in-person interpretation services in the Boston area . This is a great opportunity to use your language skills to support your local community while enjoying a flexible, part-time schedule. As an independent contractor, you'll be called on an as-needed (PRN) basis. Hours are not guaranteed and depend on client needs, interpreter availability, and language demand. Most appointments occur Monday through Friday between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM . This is a fulfilling opportunity for interpreters who want to make a meaningful difference while enjoying the flexibility of independent contract work. Requirements
- Hold a professional interpreter certification (required)
- Communicate clearly and effectively while maintaining strict confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
- Have reliable transportation to travel to local appointments in the Lynnfield/North Shore area
- Be comfortable with basic technical tasks (such as using an online portal and uploading forms)
- Have access to a printer to manage job materials
- Pass a background check as part of the onboarding process
- Be dependable, professional, and able to work independently
Responsibilities
- Provide accurate and culturally appropriate in-person interpretation between Spanish and English
