About The Position

Groundwork Operations, LLC provides general and specialized Crew to handle a wide range of tasks, including set-up and break-down of indoor and outdoor experiential events, brand activations, and more, throughout NY, NJ, PA, and MA. Our team works projects of all sizes, from small actions that a single Crew Member can handle autonomously, to large scale events such as the NY Marathon where we have dozens of shifts available on a daily basis for several weeks. We also provide project management and general and specialized labor support for travel-based warehouse and facility projects throughout North America. Our crew travels to different client locations to support small-to-medium scale projects such as warehouse build-outs, workspace reconfigurations, station assembly, wire and cable management, and material handling. All work is performed on-site at client facilities—there is no fixed or permanent work location. This job is gig-based and 100% travel-based. You are applying to be included in our database of General Workers and Warehouse Crew Members who are offered individual shifts at varying client locations based on project demand. You must be comfortable traveling to different sites for every assignment. Travel costs including flights, hotels, and per diem for food will be included. Shifts may occur on weekdays, weekends, and occasional overnights depending on project schedules and timelines. This role is ideal for individuals seeking flexible, hands-on work who enjoy changing environments and project-based assignments. Our crew includes people from a wide range of backgrounds, including tradespeople, students, creatives, and professionals seeking supplemental income. Some crew members accept only a few shifts per year, while others work 40+ hours per week during busy periods. Motivated and reliable crew members may receive more frequent shift offers, additional training opportunities, increased responsibilities, and pay increases over time.
