About The Position

MAXISIQ is seeking IT Windows System Administrator - SME candidates to be part of a dynamic team and provide support for a Sponsor’s program. This requisition is intended to identify qualified candidates for anticipated and future opportunities as business needs evolve. Selected candidates will join a dynamic, Agile team responsible for both new development and operations & maintenance (O&M) activities. This full time role supports work performed primarily in Chantilly, VA. In this role you will: Establish server baseline and develop clear and concise server build reports, Configure, build, monitor, update/upgrade and maintain/administer servers, Provide technical configuration, setup, installation services, hardware and coordination for application projects and install security updates and patches, Perform operating system software updates/upgrades.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph security clearance
• Bachelor’s degree (4 years additional experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree)
• 15+ years of experience
• Demonstrated experience with server technologies, MVS (multiple virtual storage), Linux, UNIX, and Windows technology and operating systems.
• Demonstrated experience setting up and managing servers in Commercial Cloud Enterprise (C2E).
• Demonstrated experience setting up and managing servers in the Cloud.
• Demonstrated experience with basic Linux systems administration, including installing packages, and configuring user accounts.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarization with client’s latest guidance on cyber security policy and procedures
• Demonstrated experience troubleshooting system hardware and software issues.
• Demonstrated experience with general network systems and protocols
