About The Position

Zachary Piper Solutions is currently seeking an IT Vendor Negotiations Manager in Columbia, MD.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (Master's degree a plus).
• 7+ years of experience in contract/vendor negotiations, or cost management, with a focus on client-side operations.
• Strong understanding of financial analysis and negotiation techniques.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Proven track record of achieving significant cost savings and favorable contract terms.

Responsibilities

• Lead client-side contract negotiations to achieve cost savings and secure optimal terms.
• Analyze vendor proposals, contracts, and pricing models to identify opportunities for cost reduction and value creation.
• Develop and implement negotiation strategies tailored to client needs and organizational objectives.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure contracts align with business goals and regulatory requirements.
• Establish strong relationships with vendors and clients to foster trust and long-term partnerships.
• Monitor and evaluate contract performance, ensuring compliance and identifying opportunities for renegotiation or improvement.
• Provide insights and training to internal teams on negotiation best practices and cost-saving strategies.
