About The Position

The IT Trainer at Pardee Hospital is responsible for delivering Information Technology training and development programs to end-users across the organization. This role involves conducting training sessions on computer software and basic hardware applications, ensuring that users are equipped with the necessary skills to utilize technology effectively in their roles.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Adult Education, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Two years of experience in training course presentation with an Associate's degree, or four years with a High School diploma or GED.
  • Extensive experience using Windows 7 and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Assists with analysis, testing, and selection of courseware design software and training techniques.
  • Conducts training/instruction of computer applications, methods, and processes.
  • Serves as a liaison with the user community for problem-solving and improvements to operational systems.
  • Assesses vendor selection and training needs for outside contractor coordination.
  • Designs, develops, and delivers IT training programs and materials to a wide range of customers.
  • Develops training plans and instructional methods, promoting user self-reliance.
  • Creates and adapts training materials to align with users' levels of responsibility.
  • Documents and maintains existing coursework and procedures for newly upgraded systems.
