About The Position

As an IT Testing Engineer III, you will support the testing lifecycle of our Government Healthcare Solutions Pharmacy line.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of experience within the quality assurance and/or PBM sector(s)
  • Ability to design, develop, test and debug tests cases/Scripts/plans/strategy documents
  • Knowledge of Health Insurance Industry - Claims processing, PBM, ICD 10, NCPDP, CMS, Medicare, or Medicaid.
  • Knowledge of First Data Bank (FDB) Drug nomenclature and how to use FDB nomenclature in designing / configuring drug coverage (inclusions/exclusions/PA Criteria) or building Formulary / Preferred Drug Lists.
  • Solid experience in writing SQL statements for data validations
  • Knowledge of MS Azure DevOps or other defect management system
  • Document and interpret business and technical requirements for testing utilizing various development methodologies (e.g. Agile, Scrum, Iterative, Waterfall, etc.)
  • Extensive experience in Test Management tools building Test Plans and Test Cases using MS Excel and Azure DevOps (VSTS)
  • Effective communication skills to articulate testing result data to multiple audiences.
  • Working knowledge of industry standard automated testing tools, practices, and software and/or Performance testing tools.
  • Strong and effective inter-personal and communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of clients and team members

Responsibilities

  • Provide Pharmacy Rebate SME knowledge
  • Create test models for release testing including the identification, collection and/or creation of test data
  • Create test plans, test estimates, test schedules and test strategies
  • Lead co-ordination and execution of release testing as appropriate
  • Assist with configuring drug plan benefits (e.g. Covered drugs, Pricing configuration, PA requirements) using Conduent PBM system
  • Define Release Test Plans and criteria for user acceptance including entry/exit criteria
  • Develop, update and maintain quality testing standards and procedures
  • Communicate effectively with customers and software vendors as appropriate
  • Assist in the planning, creation and control of the test environment(s)
  • Follow standard testing methodology frameworks
  • Co-ordinate testing specific release activities
  • Determine and meet time estimates and schedules for testing efforts
  • Participate in the coordination and execution of release testing
  • Preparation of Defect Status Reports and Daily/Weekly Status Reports.
  • Participate in Lessons Learned, Testing Demonstrations, and other Agile tasks
  • Identify defects and questionable functionality; manage defects through to closure
  • Triage and solve complex problems using structured troubleshooting methodologies
  • Work independently as well as work collaboratively in a team environment
