The University of Louisville's Student Affairs is seeking a part-time IT Technology Support II to provide basic computer support for the division. This role involves assisting with departmental technology acquisition, asset management, and training, under the supervision of the divisional lead IT Manager.

  • Provide technical support by performing installation, repair, and preventative maintenance of staff computers and related software/hardware.
  • Troubleshoot software and hardware failures and help identify network problems.
  • Conduct recognition, research, isolation, resolution, and follow-up steps for technical issues.
  • Work independently with little supervision and implement solutions effectively.
  • High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of two (2) years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to follow directions and learn about technical support requirements.
  • Ability to work in a professional environment and conduct oneself professionally.
  • Some college course work
  • Familiarity with a higher education environment
  • Knowledge of system principles, theories, concepts, and technologies.
  • Compensation commensurate to candidate experience.
