About The Position

The IT Technician will maintain the computer and network systems of the organization. The IT Technician will troubleshoot and diagnose computer hardware and software issues, set up computer networks and assist employees with IT-related problems.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required.
  • 1-2 years work experience in IT support role is required.
  • Experience working and communicating with users of various levels or technical knowledge is required.
  • Strong written and verbal skills, including the ability to follow written and verbal directions.
  • Able to write reports, business correspondences, and procedure manuals.
  • Able to calculate amounts of discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
  • Ability to integrate several different computer software programs to perform advanced tasks, for example, transferring data from one program to another, complex formulas, using macros and/or graphics and charts.
  • Experience with helpdesk ticketing system.
  • Able to enter data efficiently and accurately over long periods of time.
  • Ability to work professionally with customers and internal employees.
  • Able to manage multiple diverse projects.
  • Able to recognize the importance and adhere to all safety policies to promote a safe working environment.
  • Able to work well with minimal supervisor and in a team environment.
  • Analytically and highly motivated individual, with acute attention to detail.
  • Able to handle sensitive or confidential information with discretion.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate Degree in Computer Support is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provides IT support for multiple sites and companies.
  • Manages trouble tickets through completion.
  • Completes new machine setups and maintenance.
  • Provides end-user training on relevant topics or systems.
  • Ensures all systems and users adhere to security policies and guidelines.
  • Works on IT projects as directed.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as required by the supervisor to meet the needs of the department.
