The position involves providing comprehensive technical support to end users across the organization through various channels including in-person, virtual, and phone-based interactions. The technician will be responsible for identifying hardware and software requirements based on user needs and recommending appropriate solutions. Additionally, the role includes installing and configuring computer hardware, peripheral devices, operating systems, networking components, and productivity software such as Microsoft Office 365. Monitoring and troubleshooting system performance issues, analyzing user requirements, and collaborating with network services and information systems teams to resolve complex IT issues are also key responsibilities. The technician will maintain user access via Active Directory, provide basic user training, and document all technical support activities.
