About our property: Deloitte University Hotel & Conference Center - Benchmark Hospitality - High-end private hotel and conference center called Deloitte University. Closed to the public. - 1,400 hotel rooms - all single occupancy, no suites. - Nine restaurants and lounges including a Starbucks and Seattle's Best Coffee, and three sit down restaurants. - 200,000 square feet of meeting space - Ballrooms, Amphitheater and classrooms. - Fitness Center, jogging trails and sports fields (all available to our associates to use!) - All professional clientele. What you will have an opportunity to do: BASIC FUNCTION: Responsible for facilities level support for all Hospitality Technology. The IT Technician will assist with first-line support for all guest room support, staff computer usage and Hospitality related technology. Status: Full Time Availability: 1st & 2nd shift. Pay Rate: $22.90 Location: Benchmark Hospitality at Deloitte University Hotel & Conference Center
Requirements
- 2 years IT hospitality experience preferred.
- Customer service experience preferred.
- Strong computer skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Teams and Outlook.
- Excellent working knowledge of computer software to include Microsoft Office and hospitality systems.
Nice To Haves
- Microsoft PowerPoint, and OneNote experience desirable.
- Preferred applications include Infor, HotSOS, and BirchStreet.
Responsibilities
- Provides first-line support for staff computer use and telephony, including basic connectivity, routine troubleshooting, and interface with corporate IT services and software vendors, but not including corporate network access, corporate applications support, or hardware configuration.
- Maintains a strong and effective working relationship with all property IT, AV, Telephony and Infrastructure support services
- Troubleshoot issues and come up with solutions.
- Use additional resource to help resolve issues.
- Flexibility on weekend and 2nd shift work – this will be based on hotel occupancy.
