Position Purpose: We are seeking an IT Systems Administrator with significant hand-on experience in IT operations and user support, and a desire to grow their Healthcare-IT skillset with cutting-edge security and artificial intelligence tools. The successful candidate will have a strong foundation in Helpdesk services, Microsoft technologies, and end-user support, complemented by a background that includes some software development. This role requires a versatile professional who can troubleshoot, implement solutions, and collaborate across teams to ensure seamless technology operations.

  • Helpdesk & User Support Provide immediate Tier 1–2 technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Manage urgent incident resolution and escalate complex issues, when necessary, while sending non-urgent issues to be resolved by our MSP.
  • Manage trouble ticket flow to and from our managed services partner, exercising good judgement on issues that should be handled internally vs issues that should be handled by our MSP.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to internal stakeholders, prioritizing issue severity to determine response urgency.
  • Ability to explain complex technical issues using language that is understood by non-technical audiences.
  • Maintain Accurate inventory control of all IT assets.
  • Microsoft Products Expertise Administer and support Microsoft 365 suite (Office Apps, Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
  • Maintain Windows operating systems, security software, and support users with general operations.
  • Support complex security policies and guidelines in all cases.
  • Assist users in finding solutions to their business problems by utilizing tools that are available, and within the security guidelines already established for the organization.
  • Development & Automation Utilize scripting as needed for automation and system optimization.
  • Collaborate on small-scale development projects or integrations.
  • Support application deployment, patching, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Visual low-code/no-code development is a significant plus and will contribute to your career path as we continue to push custom AI applications into our environment. (bonus points given for Outsystems development experience)
  • Infrastructure & Systems Assist with server maintenance, virtualization, and cloud services, primarily by being “hands on the ground” for more senior personnel who monitor or troubleshoot local systems.
  • Monitor system performance and implement proactive improvements.
  • Respond to outage situations as needed.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in IT support and technology operations.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft technologies (Windows OS, Microsoft 365, Active Directory).
  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and troubleshooting.
  • Superior ability to research to find the answer to presented problems.
  • Experience with scripting and basic development.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Strong desire to expand their skillset into additional areas of technical competence.
  • Work history that reflects ongoing progression of responsibilities, and the utmost in reliability.
  • Ability to pass advanced security screening as a condition of employment.
  • Technology-related degree, although certifications and work history with relevant technologies will be considered in lieu of a degree.
