About The Position

The position involves providing 24/7/365 end user support, responding to all incoming calls and emails, and documenting all calls in the ticket tracking system. Responsibilities include opening service tickets for repairs and maintenance, responding quickly to infrastructure devices losing network connectivity, and reacting to system outages. The role also includes adjusting fuel price changes, verifying pass cards, and dispatching emergency services in response to alarms. Facilities support involves running network cables and inspecting Data Center equipment anomalies. Ensuring timely job completion for critical applications and emergency preparedness for UPS power backup and fire suppression systems are also key responsibilities. The position requires administration of the central repository for reports generated from mainframe and servers, as well as providing end user support for electronic store payment processing.

Requirements

  • High school education.
  • Less than a year of experience in a related field.
  • Computer literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook.
  • Knowledge of various software and hardware systems being supported.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work as a team in a high-pressure environment.
  • Superior technical and analytical skills.

  • Minimum of six months employment with Schnucks preferred for Store/Facility Teammates.
  • Minimum of one year employment with Schnucks preferred for Store Support Center Teammates.
  • Good standing with no performance improvement plan or active discipline.

Responsibilities

  • Provide 24/7/365 end user support, responding to all incoming calls and emails.
  • Document all calls in the ticket tracking system and open service tickets for repairs and maintenance.
  • Respond quickly and effectively to infrastructure devices losing network connectivity.
  • React to all system outages reported and engage support personnel to reach a resolution.
  • Adjust fuel price changes and update store ad prices and promotions.
  • Verify pass cards and dispatch emergency services in response to alarms.
  • Run network cables and inspect Data Center equipment anomalies.
  • Ensure all jobs are running on time to meet system deadlines for critical applications.
  • Respond to and follow up on all abends and restarts to ensure correct job completion.
  • Prepare for emergencies related to UPS power backup and fire suppression systems.
  • Administer the central repository for reports generated from mainframe and servers.
  • Provide end user support for electronic store payment processing and bookkeeping.
