About The Position

Job Summary: Provide first-line support for hardware, software and office equipment, assisting users in troubleshooting and resolving installation, configuration and problem issues in a timely manner. Mount Olivet Rolling Acres – MORA – is a diverse and inclusive nonprofit that has supported adults, seniors and children with developmental disabilities, behavioral health needs as well as age-related and chronic medical conditions for over 50 years in the Twin Cities metro. MORA provides an array of services: Adult Day Services, Contracted Case Management, Community Supports, over 30 Residential Homes, Respite, Therapeutic Recreation, Training for Guardians & Families, and a Discover Summer Daytime Programming for Youth with Disabilities. Our Metro Crisis Coordination Program (MCCP) offers a safety net of crucial and cost-effective services for adults and children. Hourly Pay Rate: $23.00-$26.00, DOQ $1,500 Retention Bonus for full-time staff Paid out over 1 year.

Requirements

  • Must pass Department of Human Services background check and maintain "qualified" status
  • Must not be excluded from working in government health programs by the Office of Inspector General
  • Must be able to successfully complete company’s physical job demands document.
  • If usting own vehicle for company business, must have a valid current driver’s license and must have vehicle insurance as required by state law

Nice To Haves

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in IT or related field.
  • 1-2 years related work experience.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Personal Computers.

Responsibilities

  • Answer technical questions from users, providing guidance on software usage and resolving basic technical problems.
  • Ensuring all tickets from the MORA ticketing systems are respondied to. Work with MORA ticketing system.
  • Log and track user support requests, escalating to senior IT staff when necessary.
  • Provide basic training to users on new software or hardware functionalities.
  • Educate users about cyber security best practices and identify potential security threats.
  • Support all MORA computer, networking, telephone and office equipment as needed.
  • Strong understanding of computer hardware and software.
  • Understanding of HIPPAA Privacy and Security rules
  • Networking troubleshooting and problem-solving as needed.
  • Effectively communicate to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Display empathy and patience supporting MORA staff and clients
  • Work independently and as part of a team.
  • Travel via personal car to multiple group home locations to provide technical support and training (mileage reimbursement provided).
  • Respectfully collaborate with empoyees, supervisors, vendors, and clients
  • Performs other duties as assigned
