About The Position

The IT Technical Services Supervisor at Hennepin County's Information Technology department will oversee the data center team responsible for managing three data centers that support nearly 14,000 computing devices. Responsibilities

• Provide mentoring and guidance to customer and technical staff inquiries using industry best practices and technical policies.

• Perform talent assessments through pre-qualification screening and interviewing for new hires.
• Support business-level system maintenance and carry out strategies regarding equipment life cycle management.
• Communicate hardware and software issues and provide detailed technical information to staff, customers, and vendors.
• Coordinate activities with critical facilities and IT resources to remediate risks within the data center.
