About The Position

As a member of our information technology (IT) team, you'll apply cutting-edge resources to help Johnsonville become even more productive and efficient, reduce costs and improve our capacity and profitability. You'll use and continually develop both your technical expertise and business acumen to maintain Johnsonville's innovative industry leadership. The IT Technical Services Engineer is a critical component of our IT support team. This is a great opportunity to provide exceptional customer service while leveraging your technical knowledge and expertise. We are looking for someone with strong communication and analytical skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with customers and co-workers. The ideal candidate should be motivated and self-directing with excellent diagnostic ability, interpersonal and communication skills, while focusing on delivering exceptional customer service.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in Information Systems or Computer Science required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Minimum of one (1) year of professional work experience in information systems required, preferably in a technical support role
  • Demonstrated understanding of computer science concepts and a comprehensive understanding of various operating systems, networking, systems analysis procedures and techniques, computer hardware, and a variety of software applications
  • Working knowledge of MS Intune and manufacturing label printing
  • Proficiency in Windows, O365, MS Autopilot, iOS, MacOS, and various cloud technologies
  • Working knowledge of networks, Wireless, Ethernet and VPN support
  • Working knowledge of a range of diagnostic utilities from network troubleshooting to malware removal and threat remediation

Responsibilities

  • Deploy, maintain, analyze, troubleshoot and repair various hardware technology and software applications used in an international manufacturing company
  • Assist in establishing and improving processes and procedures
  • Demonstrate your creative and analytical problem-solving skills to troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve incidents for members
  • Understand modern network topology
  • Display your strong customer service skills when working with customers, including consistent follow through, using appropriate communication tools and providing options and alternatives for incident resolution while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor
