Unio Tech Solutions is seeking a responsible, tech-savvy, and enthusiastic individual to fill the role of IT Technical Proctor for a prototype high-stakes professional exam. This contract position involves providing hands-on IT support to students during the exam process. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all technical aspects of the exam run smoothly, which includes troubleshooting any issues that may arise with the exam software or hardware. The role requires a strong understanding of both Windows and Mac operating systems, as well as the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve network connectivity problems. The position will require the candidate to work 1-2 days of online training in early October, followed by a setup day for IT hardware on October 16th, and then three consecutive days of onsite support at the proctoring test centers from October 17th to 19th, 2024. Candidates must possess excellent communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure, as they will be supporting test-takers in a high-stakes environment. Additionally, applicants must not be law school students or associated with bar prep companies, as this could create a conflict of interest. Training will be provided to ensure that the Technical Proctors are well-equipped to handle the responsibilities of the role.
