Responsibilities

  • Assisting in diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Assisting with basic cybersecurity tasks, such as monitoring and responding to potential threats.
  • Providing internal help desk/desktop support to resolve end user problems in a timely manner.
  • Documenting technical issues and their resolutions in Basecamp.
  • Installing, configuring, and maintaining computer systems and applications.
  • Updating the company asset database as new equipment is assigned out.
  • Assisting with setting up and maintaining network devices such as routers, switches, and printers.
  • Assisting the Network & Securities Admin with updates, server patching and backups.
  • Providing support for Microsoft Teams and video conferencing tools.
  • Assisting the Network & Systems Manager with various projects.
  • Collaborating with other IT team members to identify and implement improvements.
  • Adhering to IT security policies and procedures.
  • Participating in IT projects, including system upgrades and migrations.
  • Educating users on best practices and providing training on IT systems and tools.
  • Additional responsibilities as requested by Management.

Requirements

  • Coursework in Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience with Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
  • Familiarity with IT security concepts and best practices.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of scripting or programming languages (Python/PHP).
